The WBK management team is made up of experts who are among the very best at what they do. All are dedicated to ensuring that we provide our customers with the highest level of craftsmanship and service as well as a good value for their money.

WB Kibler, Chairman

W.B. “Bill” Kibler founded the company in 1971 in a metal shack that served as our first office. While working only part time these days, Bill continues to promote the company and provides excellent counsel and advice to our management team.

Kirk Kibler, Chief Executive Officer

Kirk joined the company in 1990 after graduating from Southern Methodist University. As President and Chief Executive Officer, he provides the dynamic leadership that ensures the high-quality service our customers have come to expect. Kirk’s current responsibilities include business strategy, business development, account management and information technology. He also spends a considerable amount of time establishing and cultivating relationships with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.

Jason D. Sturgeon, Director of Operations

Jason joined the company in 2014 as a Project Manager. He quickly demonstrated leadership and ability and was promoted to Director of Operations in 2016. Jason is in charge of the Project Management, Field personnel, and office leadership. He is responsible for client retention, subcontractor relations, and leading our teams on challenging projects.

Pat Malone, Vice President of Estimating and Pre-Construction

Pat joined the company in 2013 and has successfully bid projects with budgets up to $40 million. He is responsible for pre-construction services, preparing estimates, value engineering, accurate historical cost data accounting, and owner, architect, & subcontractor relations. His focus is always on adhering to the project budget, but his knowledge and field expertise help him conceptualize projects through all phases of pre-construction.

Mitch Meyers, Senior Vice President of Business Development

Mitch joined the company in 2010. Mitch was promoted to Senior Vice President of Business Development after six years of leadership and success. He also serves as the Project Executive on selected projects. Mitch focuses his attention on business development, marketing, branding, and building client relationships.

Joe Spoon, Vice President of Business Development

Joe joined W.B. Kibler Construction in 2005 and currently focuses on K-12 community schools in West Texas, splitting time between our Dallas and Abilene offices. He has been instrumental in growing the WBK brand in West Texas, managing more than $100 million in construction projects during his time with WBK.

Terry Merck, Vice President of Business Development

Terry joined W.B. Kibler Construction in May 2014 to lead our Abilene office. He focuses on brand promotion, sales, marketing and owner relations. Terry is a native of Abilene and spent 14 years on the school board of Abilene-Wylie Independent School District.

Martha Meyer, Controller

Martha joined W.B. Kibler Construction in 2002 to oversee the financial operations of the company. She manages accounts payable/receivable, payroll, benefits, the general ledger, job costing, audits, and monthly financial statements. As a key member of the management team, Martha develops and maintains the company’s Timberline Gold Series software that executes financial services in support of the company’s growth.

North Texas

WBK Construction is proud to serve the North Texas region of the state. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, WBK has been serving the area since 1971. Our experience in this region includes commercial construction projects in cities like Dallas, Ft. Worth, Southlake, Plano, Denton and Wichita Falls. With years of experience and an extensive network, we know the best subcontractors and suppliers in the North Texas area. In addition, our employees live and work in these communities. West Texas

Over the last 10 years, WBK has had a fast-growing presence in the West Texas region and recently opened a regional office in Abilene, Texas. With a focus on schools, churches and retail shopping construction projects in the West Texas region, our projects span from Amarillo to Midland/Odessa and El Paso. In the West Texas area, labor and subcontractor resources can be a unique challenge, but our years of experience and reputation in the market uniquely position us to deliver projects on time and on budget. With recent growth and new projects in the West Texas area, WBK Construction recently expanded its presence in the area with a new office in Abilene, Texas. The new office will serve as the hub for the growing list of projects WBK Construction has been tapped for in the region.

In addition to the new office to support the West Texas area, WBK Construction has welcomed the hire of a new Vice President, Terry Merck, to lead the West Texas office.

WBK Construction was selected as the construction Manager for the new Via Dolorosa Sculpture Garden. This is the third project that WBK has undertaken at the Museum of Biblical Arts in Dallas, Texas. The $1m sculpture garden is slated to begin August 2014 and be completed before December 2014.

“We are proud to have been selected for this exciting new project and the opportunity to work with a great partner again,” says Kirk Kibler, CEO of WBK Construction.

The new addition will feature a Mediterranean-style garden with life-size bronze sculptures by artist Gib Singleton. This new landmark will face the NorthPark Mall and bring a new visibility to the museum.
