Time is money. We get it.

For retailers, time truly is money. Retailers don’t make money waiting on the contractor to finish the project. WBK gets it. We create a better customer experience by understanding your needs and the space in which you operate.

WBK realizes that retailers and developers don’t make money until their project is successfully delivered. Every day under construction is a day without sales or lease payments.

We work to ensure we have the bandwidth and the subcontractor relationships to keep your project ahead of schedule and problem-free. It’s an approach that not only makes a lot of common sense but also makes our customers a lot of dollars and cents.

In retail, it pays to have a flexible partner.

At WBK, we have a long history of versatility in the retail space. Flexibility is our philosophy. We work with developers and national retailers in a variety of ways to meet their needs. Whether it’s performing site work, building lifestyle centers, power centers or grocery-anchored centers, renovating existing centers while occupied, delivering white-box spaces or doing a complete interior finish, we’re here to serve our customers.

The one thing that makes us stand out, however, is that we make your turnover date. No matter what, we don’t fail despite any adversity. When time is of the essence, you can count on us.

Job done on time. You have our word.

We have a long-time customer who faced some delivery date challenges on a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified project for a national retailer. For various reasons, the project was behind schedule from the moment we were selected as the builder. The challenges were many: an unbelievably tight schedule, labor shortages and numerous project-site constraints. By utilizing our statewide network of qualified specialty contractors, we assembled a winning team and went to work.

Our team worked two eight-hour shifts per day, seven days a week. We successfully completed a ground-up, LEED certified Best Buy electronics store in 62 days, including the interior finish. This is the fastest Best Buy ever built to date. References from the architect, developer and retailer are all available upon request.
